Refund policy

1. Your right to return

You may request a return or exchange within 14 days from the date you receive your order, subject to the exceptions and conditions below and to applicable Egyptian consumer-protection law.

For a change-of-mind return, the product must be unused, unopened, in its original condition and packaging, with all seals, labels, gifts and accessories intact. Please keep your order confirmation or proof of purchase.

2. Products that cannot be returned for change of mind

Opened, sprayed, used, damaged or altered fragrances cannot be returned for change of mind when their nature, packaging or condition prevents them from being restored to their original saleable condition. This does not affect your rights if the product is defective, damaged on arrival or different from what you ordered.

3. Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible. To help us resolve courier-related damage quickly, we recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery and including your order number plus clear photos or video of the parcel, shipping label and product. This 48-hour recommendation does not limit any mandatory statutory right.

For a confirmed defect or incorrect item, we will arrange the legally required replacement or refund without additional cost to you and within the period required by applicable law.

Include your order number, the item you wish to return and the reason. Returns sent without prior authorization may be delayed. We will provide the approved return instructions and address.

5. Return shipping

For an approved change-of-mind return, the customer is responsible for return shipping unless applicable law requires otherwise. For a confirmed damaged, defective or incorrect item, Mezzaj covers the approved return shipping.

6. Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the decision. Approved refunds will be issued through the legally appropriate available method. Timing may vary by payment provider; any mandatory statutory refund period will apply. Original delivery charges are refundable only when required by law or when the return is due to our error.

7. Order cancellation

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order. If the order has not been dispatched, we will try to cancel it. If it has already been dispatched, the return conditions above apply.

Nothing in this policy limits rights granted to consumers under Egyptian law, including Law No. 181 of 2018 and its executive regulations.
